Our partners
The scanner is free and most of what it suggests you can do yourself. If you’d rather have someone do it for you, we can introduce you to a firm that does this work. This page names them, because you shouldn’t have to agree to being passed to “a partner” without knowing who that could be.
Who’s on the panel
Nobody yet. We’re still agreeing terms with the firms we want on the panel, so there is currently no partner to introduce anyone to, and we are not sharing anyone’s details with anybody. When that changes, the firms will be named here before any introduction is made.
How an introduction works
It happens in two steps, and the order matters:
- We describe the job, not you. We tell a partner the size of the team, the kind of help wanted, the rough budget and the timeframe. We don’t send your name, your email, your company, your website, or anything you typed in the “anything else” box.
- They say yes or no. If they pass — wrong kind of work, too busy, not their patch — we can offer it to another firm on the panel, and nothing about you has gone anywhere.
- Only then do your details go across, and only to the one firm that took it on, so they can contact you.
So a firm turning the work down never sees who you are. Only the firm that’s actually going to contact you does.
What we’re paid
We’re paid a fee or a share of the work if you go ahead with a partner. It costs you nothing extra, and it doesn’t change what your report recommends — the report is written before any of this comes up, and it will happily tell you the answer isn’t AI at all.
We aren’t a party to whatever you agree with a partner, and we don’t do the work ourselves. If one doesn’t do right by you, we do want to hear about it, because our name is on the introduction: we’ll take it up with them, and a firm that keeps letting people down comes off this page.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw at any time by emailing privacy@whatcanaidoformybusiness.com. If we haven’t passed your details on yet, nothing goes anywhere. If we already have, we’ll stop sharing anything further and tell the partner you’ve withdrawn — but we can’t take back what they already hold, so you may want to ask them to delete it too.
