Terms of use

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These terms apply when you use What Can AI Do For My Business (the “site”). By running a scan or otherwise using the site, you accept them. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the site.

Who we are

The site is operated by Engine House Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09880979, registered office Office 8, North Courtyard, Woodlands, Bradley Stoke, Bristol BS32 4NQ. You can reach us at hello@whatcanaidoformybusiness.com, or for legal correspondence at legal@whatcanaidoformybusiness.com.

What the service is

You give us a website address and/or a short description of your business. We fetch and read the text of that page, send it to an AI model, and give you back a free report suggesting things AI could do for your business, along with some tool recommendations.

The service is free. There is no account and nothing to pay. We may change, suspend or withdraw it at any time, and we don’t promise it will always be available or uninterrupted.

The report is information, not advice

This is the most important thing on this page, so it is in plain words:

You are responsible for deciding whether to act on anything in the report, and for the consequences if you do.

The website address you give us

By entering a website address, you confirm that:

Please don’t put personal details, confidential information or anything sensitive into the description box. Tell us what the business does, and nothing more. See our privacy notice for what we do with what you give us and how long we keep it.

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

We may block access, without notice, where we think this is happening.

Tool recommendations and affiliate links

Reports recommend third-party tools. Some of those links are affiliate links, marked “(ad)”, which means we may be paid a commission if you sign up. That never changes which tools we recommend: picks are made on merit, and several of the tools we most often recommend pay us nothing at all.

We don’t control those third-party products or their websites. We aren’t responsible for them, for their pricing, their terms, their availability, or for anything that happens between you and them. Your dealings with them are yours alone.

Referrals for hands-on help

If you ask us to, and only if you give explicit consent, we may introduce you to one firm from the panel named on our partners page. We offer the work to a partner first without anything that identifies you; your details go across only if that partner takes it on, and only to them. If they decline we may offer it to another firm on the panel on the same anonymised basis.

We may be paid a fee or a share of revenue for that referral. It costs you nothing and it does not affect what your report recommends. We aren’t a party to whatever you agree with a partner, and we aren’t responsible for the work they do. What we share and when, and how to withdraw consent, is set out in our privacy notice.

Report links

Each report gets a long, random link. Anyone with that link can read the report, so treat it as semi-public and only share it with people you want to see it. Reports are deleted automatically after three months, and their links then stop working.

Intellectual property

The site, its content and its design belong to us or our licensors. The report we generate for you is yours to use for your own business purposes, including sharing it internally or with your advisers. Please don’t republish our site content or reports as your own product.

Whatever rights you have in the text and website content you give us stay yours. You give us permission to process them in order to produce and store your report as described in the privacy notice.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are using the site as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Subject to that: the site and the report are provided free and as is, with no warranties, express or implied, about accuracy, completeness, suitability for your business, or fitness for any particular purpose.

If you use the site in the course of a business, we are not liable to you for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss, however it arises; and our total liability to you in connection with the site and any report is limited to £100.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you use the site is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the site, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
